This is the spirit, juice and syrup mix for our Mai Tai cocktail. It comes in a one pint carton (568ml). Contains almond syrup.
Garnishes: 4 dehydrated lime wheels.
Add 125ml of mix to cocktail shaker
Shake for 15-20 seconds
Pour into a tall glass over ice, taking care to keep back the used ice (put down the sink – it’s done its job)
Decorate with lime wheel provided.
Purists beware! A modern version of the Mai Tai – we tried the original recipe and it blew our heads off! After about half a dozen attempts we came to the final recipe; this is much more palatable with pineapple juice and freshly squeezed orange juice making it a perfect summer’s day drink.
